Reinstalling the game

did anyone do this? I just got it and am tempted to reinstall it.

how will it affect the game?

what for?? wat, u think there is a hidden CE file tat makes the game smoother?? wtf man...just patch ur game and play..its the same files u downloaded and patch...

and for the record, i never install wow from the disc b4 untill BC, been on the beta installation and patching since beta...

ergh, the aus version is stuffed.

I got my copy of the game today and installed it - didn't work
Uninstalled/reinstalled - still didn't work

found out the problem in the end.
When you install the aus version, the games doesn't create any shortcuts on your desktop/start menu/games explorer (vista)
however you can still go to the install folder and run the warpatch.exe file.

BUT this file is stuffed as well. It fires up real quick in the background and then does nothing.

You have to download a different version of warpatch.exe and run that

Now after this, the game will patch some small files and the proper Mythic Patcher launches <-this fucks up too
For some reason it didn't want to accept my password that I set about 15 min ago
Read up a bit more but to get it working, just go to https://accounts.eamythic.com and login with the details for your main account
Go to the WAR subscription and change the password there, the patcher will now let you login

And this is where I am stuck. My internet is shaped atm so I have to wait till tomorrow to patch

haha i reinstalled mine. yeah i just went to the games folder and my shortcut was there so i created a shortcut on my desktop and just run off that.

as far as i can see the only difference is i get a funky intro movie haha.

edit: for those interested the installed from disc size is still 10gig so no space difference.

ya they did mentioned tat the AUS and NZ version got some installation bug thingy...hope to see ya in game soon munty

is the intro the same as the intro tat was onthe warhammer for quite some time? the one with orc using orcapult to fly to castle wall?

My game crashes so often it's not funny. I just want to start on a blank slate I guess.
