4 gods of chaos

* Khorne - God of Hate, Rage, Blood, Violence, War, and Killing
* Tzeentch - God of Change, Lies, Hope, Ambition, Manipulation, Scheming and Sorcery
* Nurgle - God of Decay, Despair, Stagnation, Destruction, and Disease
* Slaanesh - God of Decadence, Excess, Pain, Pleasure and Self-indulgence

Khorne
Khorne acts outwardly by seeking the deaths of others, preferring close combat over ranged weaponry, and the only thing he respects is strength. As such, he is completely opposed to the hedonistic Slaanesh, an inwardly acting god who seeks pleasure in every act and experience.

Khorne is described as an extremely well-muscled, hundreds of feet tall beast-headed monster sitting on a brass throne atop a mountain of skulls in the middle of a sea of blood. The skulls are described as belonging to both his victims and his worshippers alike, as Khorne cares not whose blood flows, as long as it flows.

In Warhammer 40,000, the Chaos Space Marines who worship Khorne are known as "Berserkers". They typically come from the World Eaters Legion but are not exclusive to that legion.

In Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Khornate champions are usually seen in red and brass and typically carry large axes, although other weapons such as swords and spears appear occasionally. The Khorne rune is typically displayed prominently on their armour.

Tzeentch
Tzeentch is described as the Chaos god of hope, personified by change and magic. Somewhat opposed to the stagnant Nurgle (god of despair), Tzeentch excels in subtle machinations and is patron to schemers and conspirators of all sorts.

More so than any other Chaos god, Tzeentch is associated with spectacular and varied mutations, and his daemons are typically depicted in outlandish, ever-shifting shapes.

In Warhammer 40,000, the Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marine chapter is dedicated to the worship of Tzeentch. Among them, Ahriman the sorcerer attempted to curtail the effect of his patron's gifts of mutation to better preserve the legionnaires' remaining humanity. While his spell did succeed in stopping the mutations and empowering the legion's psykers, most of the marines who lacked psychic potential were rendered mindless automatons, entrapping their souls within their power armor and removing what lingering humanity they had left. These 'rubric' marines are led into battle by the remaining sorcerers.

In Warhammer Fantasy Battle, champions of Tzeentch are known especially for their powerful wizardly abilities.

Nurgle
Nurgle is the Chaos god of despair, personified by stagnation, entropy and disease. He is the adversary of Tzeentch, whose dogma runs contrary to his. Nurgle is depicted as a large hulking figure covered in oozing sores and vivid marks of decay. His numerous daemons all embody the same diseased aesthetic, from the powerful Great Unclean Ones to the gibbering hordes of tiny daemons known as Nurglings. Nurgle's rune, a stylized depiction of a fly that resembles three circles adjacent to one another, bears a strong resemblance to the international biological hazard symbol.

In Warhammer 40,000, Nurgle is revered especially by the Death Guard legion of Chaos Space Marines. Originally devoted servants of the Emperor, they fell to the worship of Chaos following a cataclysmic plague that threatened their very survival. In desperation, they turned to Nurgle for succor, and became his most devoted servants, the Plague Marines. A favored weapon of Nurgle is the 'Plaguesword', that causes anything it touches to rot and decay. Also mentioned in the novel False Gods is a weapon called the Anathame which was created to destroy a Primarch by poisonous means, and it was used to wound the Warmaster Horus, causing him to switch allegiances. This means Nurgle was the Chaos god to spark the Horus Heresy through his minions.

Slaanesh
Slaanesh is the Chaos god of hedonism and excess, a hermaphroditic deity known by names such as The Dark Prince and She Who Thirsts. Slaanesh is the youngest of the Chaos Gods, given life at the Fall of the Eldar. His birth ripped the hole between dimensions known as the Eye of Terror. Slaanesh's primary followers come out of the Emperor's Children legion. While Slaanesh enjoys everything from sex to life itself its followers are plagued by the constant need to expand their horizons. Though they are in constant need of ecstasy, the followers of slaanesh are among the most twisted and disturbed of beings that inhabit the world of Warhammer 40k. Slaanesh weaponry includes sonic blasters that are tuned to blow apart flesh, and Blastmaster, amplified to destroy heavily armoured units. In Warhammer, the chief number of troops of slaanesh are daemonettes. They are disturbingly beautiful and seductive, but their hands end with huge crab like pincers. They take pleasure in killing men who stand slack jawed at their malefic beauty. Cults secretly devoted to Slaanesh can be found all over the Warhammer world, and many people inadvertently give into the many temptations of pleasure and soon become minions of Chaos. Slaanesh enjoys causing pain through desire, so the Deamonettes are typical of these hobbies. Not surprisingly, slaanesh does not take his own defeat or loss of something he desires famously well. After one particular defeat, one particularly powerful Deamonette tried to cheer him up by dancing beautifully, but he thought that she was mocking him so cursed her to eternally dance. This deamonette now dances forever and carries a staff with happy and sad masks on either end, so she can change her appearance to suit the nature of her dances and is now called the Masque of Slaanesh.

Slaanesh is the god of indulgence and pleasure so therefore takes interest in the more diligent of human activities, such as dance, music and art.

orc
Orc "culture" is dominated by the concept of strength. There is no law, and therefore no crime. If an orc feels wronged, he can challenge the source of his grievance to a pit fight. Once the fight is over, the matter is considered settled. Orcs have no concept of pity; to an orc, the weak are simply weak, and are beneath them in society.

An orc attains a higher social rank by fighting and defeating members of that rank. Because of their bizarre physiology, orcs receive a steady supply of adrenaline when preparing to challenge a superior, causing him to physically increase in size and muscle-mass. An alert superior will spot this occurring and promptly beat the challenger down before he becomes a threat. If the superior fails to notice this development, then a battle inevitably results. Once such a leadership battle is won, the winning orc undergoes an extreme boost in power, gaining up to a dozen pounds of muscle in the wake of the fight. Orc veterans are known as "big'uns", because they are literally bigger and stronger than ordinary orcs. Grimgor Ironhide, a Black Orc Warlord, is over 15 feet in height. As orcs grow older and beat more powerful foes, they can become "bosses," "big bosses," and eventually "warbosses". A warboss leading several tribes in a Waaagh! is known as a "warlord".

Orcs communicate through their own language which has been described as a variety of guttural sounds, but they are often shown as capable of speaking humans languages, mostly broken and fragmented Reikspiel. There is one tribe of savage orcs that is said to have a vocabulary consisting entirely of the word "Waaagh!," with variants in volume, pitch, and accents making up for individual words. Their written language works in a similar way to Egyptian hieroglyphics, only louder and cruder.

Orcs worship a pair of gods known as Gork and Mork. Apparently, one is brutally cunning, and the other is cunningly brutal. Orcs can never quite agree which god is which, and many battles have been fought as a result.

Orcs tend to ally with Goblins and Snotlings, but their alliance is more of a matter of the orcs bullying their smaller Goblinoid cousins into being everything from servants, to human (goblin) shields, to an emergency food source. Their warbands also often include wyverns, giants, trolls, ogres and other monsters in the same vein.

Orcs seem to have a racially-linked mind, from which some Orcs can draw power; this is known as the Great Green or WAAAGH! (always spelled with 2 or more a's (often 3) and at least one exclamation mark).

Orc and goblin shamans can draw on this power to fuel their magic, which can take a variety of forms, with the most notorious being the ability to summon a giant foot of one of their gods to crush an enemy unit. In the current edition, goblin shamans draw upon the "little WAAAGH!" for their magic, which focuses on mobility, avoiding panic tests, and doing damage to very strong troops. Orcs, however, draw upon the "Big WAAAGH!", which focuses on killing as many enemies as possible. Off the battlefield, these shamans provide healing, fortune telling and other such services to the tribe. Shamans who draw too deeply from this energy risk their heads exploding. For more warrior-like orcs, the WAAAGH! acts more as a communal group mind, inspiring them to battle. Orcs have a tendency to simply steamroller towards and over their foes, until the impetus runs out and they go off their separate ways again.

The innate popularity of the orcs and orks amongst gamers, due to their humour and their being an entertaining army to play both with and against, has led to WAAAGH! becoming almost a rallying cry for the Games Workshop hobby, and it is frequently heard at gaming conventions and during battles.

black orc
Black Orcs were originally created by the Chaos Dwarfs to use as slaves, but have since rebelled and found a place in regular Orc armies. They are naturally even bigger, stronger and meaner than regular orcs, and so tend towards command roles, also they do form their own units; they are also, if not smarter, more well-organised, and they are immune to the effects of animosity (Although if another orc unit attacks them, they will definitely fight back). Being the largest of Orcs, and having an air of authority, they procure large amounts of the heaviest armour from the Camp, and march to battle carrying a Variety of Choppas and heavy, two-handed blades.

Savage Orcs
Savage Orcs are not a subspecies as such, but more a specific subset of orc tribe; their tribes have a stone-age level of development, and are even more shamanistic and savage than their regular orc cousins. They are most well known for riding giant boars into combat, and paint their bodies with magical tribal designs which provide them with some level of natural protection.
